A brief of Abarth
Carlo Abarth created Abarth & C. S.p.A. (pronounced abart) in 1949 as an Italian racing and road vehicle manufacturer and performance division. Stellaris owns Abarth & C. S.p.A., which is a wholly-owned subsidiary. A shield with a stylized scorpion on a yellow and red backdrop serves as the company's logo. Since 1947, Carlo Abarth has served as the sports director of the Cisitalia factory racing team. Cisitalia's financial collapse occurred in 1948, owing to the capital required to put the 202 coupé into production. The next year, the company went bankrupt, and Piero Dusio, the founder, moved to Argentina. Carlo Abarth, backed by Armando Scagliarini, purchased Cisitalia's assets and established Abarth & C. in Bologna on March 31, 1949. The corporate logo was created to represent Carlo's astrological sign, Scorpio. Abarth got five 204 sports cars (two full Spiders and three incomplete), a D46 single-seater, and miscellaneous spares from the Cisitalia insolvency. The 204s were renamed Abarth 204 A right away. Abarth created and raced sports cars based on the last Cisitalia models. In addition to Guido Scagliarini, the "Squadra Abarth" racing team included Tazio Nuvolari, Franco Cortese, and Piero Taruffi on its roster.On 10 April 1950, Tazio Nuvolari made his final outing in racing, winning the Palermo–Monte Pellegrino Hillclimb in the Abarth 204 A class. Aside from racing, the company's major focus was on developing and distributing accessories and performance components for Fiat, Lancia, Cisitalia, and Simca vehicles, such as intake manifolds and silencers.One of the popular or biggest Manufacturer Company Abarth.
